Rides That Keep You Connected
“Part of keeping your independence is knowing you can get to where you need to go.”
For many older adults, a ride is the key to independence. Last year our staff and volunteer drivers provided 10,716 rides — to the doctor, the store, and the people and places that matter.
Medical Rides
Doctor appointments, dialysis, and other medical visits — so health care is never out of reach.
Errands & Groceries
Grocery shopping, the pharmacy, and even hair & nail appointments to keep life running.
Social & Visiting
Rides to senior centers and to visit friends and family — because connection matters.
Seasonal Outings
Special trips to parks, Hudson Gardens, and neighborhood Christmas lights throughout the year.
Who can ride: free for Douglas County adults age 60 and older, and for any adult who uses a wheelchair. Wheelchair-accessible rides available.
