What We Do

Our Programs

Every service is free to Douglas County adults age 60 and older — made possible by our donors and volunteers. Here's how we help neighbors stay independent at home.

Transportation

Rides to medical appointments, the pharmacy, the grocery store, and social outings — including wheelchair-accessible transportation.

Help at Home

Light housekeeping, grocery shopping, meal support, and help keeping the home safe, tidy, and organized.

Chore & Yard Services

Raking, trimming, minor repairs, and seasonal yard cleanup so home stays safe and manageable through every season.

Companionship

Friendly visits, phone calls, and regular check-ins that fight social isolation and keep neighbors connected and cared for.

Equipment Loan Closet

Borrow medical and safety equipment — walkers, wheelchairs, shower chairs, and more — free of charge, for as long as you need it.

Resource Navigation

One-on-one guidance connecting older adults and their families to the local services, benefits, and support they need.

Our Capital Campaign

Building the Future of Aging Well

It's about more than a building.

As Douglas County's 60-and-older population keeps growing — now more than 1 in 5 residents — we're creating the community hub that older adults and caregivers have told us they need: a welcoming place for support groups, education, connection, and private guidance. We're moving from a 1,000-square-foot office into a nearly 5,000-square-foot home for aging well.

Community Campaign
$17,531of $50,000 goal

The Board of Directors have approved $250,000 to go toward the building fund. We'll reach our $400,000 goal through the naming & sponsorship opportunities below — plus our $50,000 community campaign and gifts of every size. Every commitment brings the doors closer.

"Aging Resources is one of the reasons I am able to stay in my own home. They are such a blessing in my life!" — Dee M., client
